Poem: Expression of a picture

Below are short poems of random pictures on an exercise given by Mr. Radzi Bedu. As instructed, the poem is to be based on the picture and assuming to be expressed to the loved ones, as for example if a female  student to be expressed to the male or a person that she loves.

1st Exercise

You are hot
You make me cry
You make me sad
You being you
..and I always love you no matter what
this may be true
even though you always turn me blue

2nd Exercise

Day noon or night,
I depend on you,
Summer Winter Autumn or Spring,
I think of you,
When you are not there,
I miss you.

3rd Exercise

You are strong,
You are tough
But we need each other
 I can be your pillar
You be my anchor
For each of our  weaknesses

Combination Animals

This is the combination of leopard and elephant : during our class exercise, Mr Radzi Bedu told us to create something that cannot live in real life. The reason why this combination of leopard and elephant cannot live in real life is because the leopard is an active animal as compared to the elephant, and the elephant head is big and heavy. this "Leophant" cannot survive as the head  is herbivore whereby the body is carnivore.

Leopard combine with Elephant
Becomes Leophant

Below are sketches of ideas during class in session :

Exchange sketches

This is my exchange sketches drawn by Adila Fuad during Creative studies Class, we exchanged sketches based on our biographies.

Mortar and pestle

mortar and pestle is a tool used to crush, grind, and mix solid substances (trituration). The pestle is a heavy bat-shaped object, the end of which is used for crushing and grinding. The mortar is a bowl, typically made of hard wood, marble, clay, or stone. The substance to be ground is placed in the mortar and ground, crushed or mixed with the pestle.

can we imagine what is the point using mortar and pestle in 50 years from now?

For weapon : if someone trying to rob you, what you can do with mortar and pestle is ; cover their face using Mortar and knock their head with pestle at the same time scream out loud to alert people calling for help

For sound :  if you want to mind other people's business over a thick wall, place your ear on the mortar which is placed against the wall, and use the pestle to knock slowly on the mortar  for clearer sound.

For Diet : roll the pestle on our stomach for 20 minutes and the sweat will come out from the body and place the pestle in the mortar, the residule will be the quantity of the fat that burned.

Thumb's Up to Mr Radzi Bedu

This week's lecture was full of joy and happiness, Mr Radzi Bedu has taught us two types of mind mapping, the first is logical mind map and the second is associated mind map.  Mr Radzi Bedu's approach with the students is very fascinating and interesting. I like this week's lecture because Mr Radzi Bedu has attracted students' attention on "mortar and pestle" but unfortunately that we have no time to read the slides as  Mr Radzi Bedu has to explain on certain points and and as of today, the slides have not been uploaded in MMLS for reference. Over all the lecture was okay with me.

Bill Gates's - Creativity, Innovative, Invention and novelty

Bill Gates is one of the most influential people in the world. He is cofounder of one of the most recognized brands in the computer industry with nearly every desk top computer using at least one software program from Microsoft. According to the Forbes magazine, Bill Gates is the richest man in the world and has held the number one position for many years.

What is creativity?

Creativity is the bringing into being of something which did not exist before, either as a product, a process or a thought.

On creative thingking, when bill gates led microsoft, he realized that he didn't have to know everything. He recognized that he had employees who did. but, he appreciated the importance of taking the time to learn what they knew and absorb their creative thinking. He took time to listen to their ideas. He took time to think, to ponder the direction of Microsoft. The Wall Street Journal highlighted Gates’ bi-annual Think Weeks in an article a few years ago, In Secret Hideaway, Bill Gates Ponders Microsoft’s Future by Robert A. Guth. Bill Gates took the time, twice a year, to read and ponder the future of Microsoft and the creative thinking of his employees.

What is Invention?
An invention is the conception of a new and useful article, machine, composition, or process.

Gates was inventing even when he was in 8th grade. Gates and his pal Paul Allen produced two programs in the 8th grade: one played tic-tac-toe. Before long, they were moonlighting as adolescent computer consultants for a local corporation. In high school, Gates and his friends devised a program that analyzed traffic data for his hometown.

What is Innovation?
An innovation can be big or small. Brand-new or just a bit different, it doesn't matter. An innovation can be clearly complex or seemingly simple. Innovations are often thought of in terms of technical achievement, but can also be a design. The type, industry and style of innovation are irrelevant; an innovation's impact determines its qualification.

Bill gates help to active carbon less energy efficiency by developing innovative teleology that produce energy without generating any CO2 emissions at all. he believe the key goal to achieve is an 80% reduction in CO2 emission by 2050, a goal he says will only be reached through innovation.

What is Novelty?
Novelty is the quality of being new

In the 1980s when the computer was still mostly a novelty, Gates expressed his vision that there would one day be “a computer on every desk and in every home.” That vision has nearly become a reality in the U.S. and it’s in the process of coming to fruition across the globe. Gates’ vision of the computing experience has continued to inspire the industry in general as well as Microsoft’s product plans — from the smartphone to the Tablet PC to speech recognition to the touch-based interface.
